Winston Churchill visit

Class 2 had a very special visitor this week. Winston Churchill visited Lamerton. He shared his famous speeches and children looked at propaganda from the time. They looked at mystery objects from WW2 and made Spitfires and Messerschmitt planes. The Battle Of Britain was recreated!

Class 2 also heard from a Bletchley Girl and learnt about code breaking. History certainly came to life!
